Eduard Kliman receives the award from the City of Poreč
Our director, Eduard Kliman, is the recipient of this year's City of Poreč Award for his contribution to the development of the City's cadastral system!
Eduard Kliman is a graduate geodesy engineer who has dedicated his professional life to the development and improvement of the cadastral system. He began his professional career at the Poreč Cadastre, where he has been the head since 1991.
He was one of the key players in the modernization of the cadastre in Poreč, especially through the introduction of new IT solutions and modern geodetic methods. Of particular note is his participation in the preparation of new cadastral surveys for the cadastral municipalities of Funtana, Vrsar (including Funtana North and South), as well as for the cadastral municipalities of Varvari, Nova Vas, Frata and others, which significantly improved the accuracy and efficiency of cadastral records.
He made a special contribution to the computerization of cadastral data and the establishment and updating of street and house number records, including the historic city core. He also actively participated in the City's spatial planning activities.
In addition to his professional work, he also stands out for his many years of humanitarian and socially responsible activities, especially in the field of education and support for young surveyors.
With his knowledge, experience and dedication, he left a lasting and significant contribution to the development of the cadastral system of the City of Poreč.
